Why nine days, and not two trips
Days one to five cover every Komodo highlight — dragons, diving, Pink Beach, Padar, mantas. Days six to nine go inland to Flores for the UNESCO-candidate village of Wae Rebo, the Cancar rice fields, Kelimutu’s tri-colour crater lakes and the Ngada ikat weaving villages.

The land portion is quoted separately from the sea portion. Road transfers on Flores are long — the desk builds the days around them rather than pretending they are not there.

Why combine sea and land?
Because Flores inland is genuinely different from anything in the park, and reaching it from Labuan Bajo as a separate trip means flying twice. Nine days does both in one arc.
How much does it cost?
From USD 5,300 per yacht per night for an entry-luxury phinisi taking six to ten guests — this is a eight-night itinerary — rising to USD 6,400 for a larger hull and USD 35,000 and beyond on the ultra-luxury flagships. Rates are per vessel, not per person, so the economics improve sharply with group size. The desk quotes the exact total against your dates and party.
Is Wae Rebo hard to reach?
It is a hike, at altitude, and that is the point — the village sits at 1,200 metres and there is no road in. The desk will tell you honestly whether your party is up for it.
Can the land days be shortened?
Yes, but Kelimutu at sunrise and Wae Rebo both need their own day. Cutting below four land days means dropping one of them.
