What a motor yacht costs, and when it wins
From USD 5,300 a night for the whole yacht, all-inclusive — the rate is per vessel, not per person. Worth the step up over sail when the itinerary runs long, when the water is open, or when someone aboard would rather not feel it.

What size motor yacht suits Komodo?
Fifteen to thirty metres covers the range. Under twenty suits six to eight guests comfortably; above twenty-five you are buying deck levels and crew quarters as much as cabins.
What is inside the day rate?
Crew, fuel, all meals and beverages, dive and snorkel equipment, kayaks and paddleboards, and national park permits. Nothing on that list is billed again later.
Motor yacht or phinisi for diving?
Motor yachts carry the compressor, the dive platform and the rinse tanks — more dives a day and Nitrox on board. Take the phinisi if the character of the vessel matters more than tank turnaround.
How far ahead should I book?
Three to six months for April–June and September–November. Shoulder months often open up inside six weeks, and run up to 20% cheaper.
